The horseshoe shaped falls are divided into basically two main parts. Historically, the waterfalls are the site where the district chieftain, orgeir Ljsvetningagoi, threw away his heathen icons (goar) in acceptance of Christianity (1000 A. D.). Str: 148 mm 5,8 in.
